Practical write-ups for people who publish URLs and then watch the preview fail. These are not blog posts about “going viral.” They are checklists and explanations: why a crawler ignored your PNG, why WhatsApp shows a title with no picture, how WordPress emits og:image. Every guide is written in US English for readers in the US, UK, Australia and Canada. We do not invent traffic numbers or success rates.

How we write these

Each guide starts from a failure you can reproduce: the debugger shows a blank image, the chat card has a title and no picture, the WordPress social preview ignores the featured image. We describe the HTML the crawler actually received, then the cache, then the file. If a size number has not been checked against a vendor document, we say so. Reviews are attributed to [YOUR NAME] on the article page once a draft is published.

Corrections go through thecontact page. Include the URL. If you found an official size that disagrees with our table, send the documentation link; we will not “fix” a figure from a screenshot of a competitor.
