Does the image resizer upload my files?
No. Cropping and encoding run entirely in your browser with the Canvas API. Nothing is sent to our servers for this tool.
Where do the size presets come from?
From our platforms data (the same source as the social media image size pages). We do not invent separate hard-coded dimensions on this page.
What is target-size mode?
For JPG and WebP, the tool can auto-tune quality to aim under a KB target (for example 200-400 KB for WhatsApp-style guidance). PNG ignores quality sliders.
