The service
SocialImageKit provides free, browser-based tools and written guides about social sharing images and Open Graph tags. The site is offered as-is. Features can change or go offline for maintenance, cost or legal reasons.
Acceptable use
You may use the tools for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Attempt to break, overload or scrape the site in a way that harms other visitors or the host.
- Use the contact form to send spam, malware or content you do not have the right to send.
- Misrepresent the site as an official product of Facebook, Meta, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or any other platform we mention.
- Upload or generate material that is illegal where you live, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
Free tools and generated images
You may use images you generate with the OG Image Generator, including for commercial projects on sites you control. That permission covers the layout the generator draws. It does not grant rights to logos, photographs, brand marks or text you add. You are responsible for having permission to use every asset you bring into the canvas.
Client-side tools process files in your browser. Downloading a PNG does not transfer ownership of third-party artwork to SocialImageKit, or from SocialImageKit to you, beyond the generated layout itself.
Intellectual property
The SocialImageKit name, the site’s original text and original graphics belong to [YOUR NAME]unless a credit says otherwise. You may quote short passages with a link. You may not copy the site wholesale, republish guides as your own, or wrap our tools in another product without permission.
Platform names and logos mentioned in the guides belong to their owners. See theDisclaimer.
No warranties
The tools and articles are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that a given platform will accept your file, show your title, or honour a size we documented on the date you visit. Platforms change their crawlers without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, [YOUR NAME] and SocialImageKit are not liable for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or inability to use it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to zero, because the tools are free, or if a court requires a floor, the amount you paid us for the specific service in the three months before the claim (which is currently nothing). Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, they apply only as far as local law allows.
Third-party links
Guides link to official documentation and debugging tools. Those sites have their own terms. We are not responsible for their content or availability.
Changes and availability
We may add, remove or alter tools and pages. We may add ads to pay for hosting. We are not obliged to keep a particular URL forever, though we try not to break published paths without a reason.
Termination
We may block access that looks like abuse (for example a flood of form spam). You may stop using the site at any time. Client-side images already on your disk remain yours to keep, subject to the rights in “Free tools and generated images”.
Governing law
