Platform behaviour
Facebook, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Pinterest, Slack and similar apps decide how they fetch, crop, cache and display a link preview. They change those rules without telling independent sites. A size, file type or tag that worked last month may fail after a crawler update. We document what official pages said when we last checked. We do not guarantee that any network will render your image the way the generator preview looks.
Trademarks and affiliation
Names, logos and product terms for Meta, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, X, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Slack, Apple, Google and others belong to their owners. SocialImageKit is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by those companies. Mentions exist so you can find the right debugger and the right pixel size.

Advertising and affiliate links
Ads may appear on SocialImageKit to cover hosting. Advertisers are responsible for their own creatives and landing pages. Some links on the site may be affiliate links; if they are, we will label them as such. A labelled affiliate link means we may earn a commission if you buy through it, at no extra cost to you. Unlabelled links are ordinary references.
