This page explains cookies and similar storage on SocialImageKit. It sits next to thePrivacy Policy. “Cookies” here also covers local storage and pixels that advertising or analytics partners may set.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small piece of data a site stores in your browser so the site, or a third party, can recognise the browser on a later visit. Some cookies last only for the session; others remain until they expire or you delete them.
Categories we use
Necessary
Required for basic operation and security. Examples include cookies the host sets to route traffic or to remember that you are on HTTPS. The site cannot work reliably without these. The OG Image Generator itself does not need a cookie to draw or download an image.
Analytics
Used only if we add an analytics product. They help us see which pages are read. Until that product is named in the Privacy Policy, we do not intentionally set analytics cookies from SocialImageKit.
Advertising
Used if Google AdSense or another ad network is enabled. These cookies help vendors (including Google) serve ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and — unless you opt out — personalise ads based on visits to this site and others. See the advertising section of the Privacy Policy for opt-out links.
How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Look in settings for “Privacy”, “Cookies” or “Site data”. You can also useGoogle Ads Settingsand aboutads.info for advertising cookies. Blocking all cookies may affect ads and any future logged-in features; the core generator should still run.
Consent banner
A consent banner is not on the site yet. When advertising or non-essential analytics are enabled, a Google-certified consent management platform will be added. Until then, use your browser controls. We will not build a custom cookie pop-up of our own.
